SAGEM myX-6 is a tri-band mobile phone in a candy bar format. The phone comes equipped with a number of quality features including an integrated camera, MMS multimedia messaging, voice recorder, and GPRS data transfer. This phone is designed for the front and rear covers to be changed, so enabling you to alter its appearance to satisfy your personal taste.
The myX-6 has a high quality TFT type of LCD, with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and support for up to 65,000 colours. The display is matched by the similar high standard of the integrated CCD camera, which has a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, and the added benefit of 4x digital zoom and a mirror for self-portraits.
Using the phone’s sound recorder and camera you are able to put together some interesting MMS messages to send to your contacts. You can also customise this phone by downloading a wide range of pictures, sounds and animated graphics, as well as polyphonic and Hi-Fi ringtones. Sounds recorded on the phone’s memo recorder can even be turned into ringtones.
Although the myX-6 does not support JavaTM, it does include a couple of integrated games, and In FusioTM games can be downloaded onto the phone.
The GPRS and WAP capability gives you access to the mobile Internet, and the wide range of services that are offered there. Connectivity with computers and PDAs is also supported, via cable or infrared links, which allows you to synchronise your personal data with a PC. Data transmission rates of up to 53.6 kbps are possible.
