SAGEM myC-2 is a dual band clamshell design mobile phone. Being at the budget end of the market this is a model that would suit buyers who are looking for a basic phone, but without all the extra facilities available on the more sophisticated and expensive handsets. Among the features in the phone are its support for EMS messaging, WAP capability, a speakerphone for hands-free conversations, and polyphonic ringtones.
This phone has a colour LCD screen with a resolution of 101 x 80 pixels, and this display can reproduce of up to 256 different colours. Being EMS enabled it is possible to send and receive messages containing simple images, animated screensavers, and ringtones with a text. When you want to use new wallpapers, screensavers or ringtones, then these can be easily downloaded as an EMS message from a suitable supplier, or via WAP.
There is one game embedded in the myC-2, although it is not possible to download any more. However, there are several useful applications included in the phone: a calculator, conversion tool, alarm and timer.
The myC-2 has integrated WAP technology, and so it is possible to access the mobile Internet with this phone. The onboard browser provides you with the means to view the WAP sites, and to find the information and services that interest you.
