Motorola V150 is a dual band mobile phone with a clamshell style form of body. The phone’s features include EMS capability, voice activated dialling, polyphonic ringtones, and Internet access via WAP and GPRS.
The V150’s screen has a resolution of 96 x 65 pixels and supports up to 4096 colours; there is also the possibility of displaying 4 lines of text. The screen should be adequate for normal use, and will allow you to take part in real time SMS chat sessions with friends, using the phone’s instant messaging capability.
Although there are polyphonic ringtones already built in, you are able to download more, or even compose your own with the included Motomixer application. For some personalisation of the V150 it is possible to download more wallpapers, and screensavers. There are also 3 games built in for some extra amusement.
With its support for higher data speeds, the on-board GPRS technology allows the user faster call set-up, quicker downloads from the mobile Internet, and an “always on” connection. A USB serial connection allows you to link up with a compatible PC, and to synchronise data or exchange files.
